Hello, how come I can’t find this particular jacket in Muism ? Where exactly is this jacket located does anybody know?

I got the free hair voucher for noobs from gurl6 but I still didn’t get a reply from the person in charge after sending the voucher to him.

I think freebies are fair game for evaluation as well as presentation. Surely it’s legitimate to point out things like moddability or potential fitting issues for the benefit of those who might want to know. Naturally there’s a difference between freebies and full-price creations in terms of how much flexbility and customer support you can reasonably expect. My guess would be that most readers of this blog get the distinction. If a freebie turns out to be not workable for you–as Maddox pointed out, you can throw it away with no harm, no foul.

Express, I am sure that your intentions were pure and I do not mind seeing good freebees worn in styles (much) however you may find that the tone of you “review” offends hard working designers. It certainly offended me as a Muism fan. I never had a slightest problem with fitting any of Musim designs to any of my shapes nor myself.

To speak about freebee like representation of designers’ hard work - I think is not fair especially that the clothing is free. Designers provide freebies for their not so fortunate customers if they are not mod or unusable they can throw them away - but they are not intended for review.

I got other jackets from Muism (a long striped and the new denim) and sometimes it’s hard to correctly align the prim with the body, but most of the cases we can. I agree that sometimes on prim clothes there should be a demo availabe so we can see if it suits on our shape…

…and speaking of that, @ Maddox, now that I need to buy a second shape from you to give to my RL-brother when do you do some no-mod-demos? it was also nice

Ren: You’re right. I misread the perms. I’ve fixed and clarified what I meant above.

Maddox: as I said, beggars can’t be choosers. Unlike the other writers here I don’t always personally like everything in my posts (though I often do). If a freebie is of reasonable quality, I’ll try to make an ensemble around it and show it in case someone else actually does like it or want it. It is free, after all. I minimally give my opinion on the clothes and give information I think someone might need to know about the item.

Umbra, In my experience MUISM offers their clothing in several sizes if it is not mod (but most is mod). Check your folder for other sizes they are usually packaged in one folder but in separate prims/boxes.

Agree with Ryan - If you do not get response from ICE via IM contact the creators via Note card. Our IMs do get capped and we get lot of them daily.

Better to do that first than speaking badly about your experience in blogs, since you have not covered all the basis.

It is a freebeee - creator has the right to make it mod or no mod with no demo nor support for the item.

Freebee are usually targeted to noobs that have nothing to wear not so much as something you would style with since free items do not receive any customer support and can be removed by creator at any time without notice.
