The collar is a prim of course. Somehow, despite the very tricky plaid pattern, Kobe Flatley has managed to blend the join seamlessly (except some facelights will cause a shadow). With that cut-out, it looks like a jacket lapels that have been turned up and securely buttoned up. I honestly don’t see how anyone can live without at least one of these.
Plaid Jacket comes in grey, red, brown and blue and is a steal at L$270 per colour. The folder contains three sizes and a note that Kobe Flatley will work with you if those don’t work. You can wear it as jacket-layer or as shirt+underpants or undershirt=underpants layers. As well as the prim collar there are wonderful cuffs which have a small flexi-bit at the end and a sleeve pocket which I’m less convinced about.
Don’t be hasty at the shop. Plaid Jacket grabs your eyes like nothing else and, as a result, there are some great clothes you could easily miss. One of these is Variles, an ordinary pull-over with an extraordinary texture and pattern. Variles top is only L$150 in either red, brown, blue or black, and again it comes on every layer you could want it. There are prim sleeves that look only slightly pushed up, they’re nice. And without the sleeves, Variles looks wonderful under jackets. Enjoy!
You’ll find Mechanism’s main store in Zafrira, a sim well worth a look around.
Photos taken in Hinterland Orkney, except the last one, which is back in Zafrira.
