Someone once said that clothes make the man…

My name is MaxmillianDArgent Ferraris. My occupation, newest connoisseur of Second Life Fashion. My passion, putting it together and making it real…so to speak. My objective is to put together a wardrobe any av would be proud of. Professional, casual, romantic, urban, cyber, goth…whatever theme draws my attention…if I like it, I’ll get it and show it off. In each post, I’ll be including accessories, hair, and the occasional props with each outfit. I’ll also be listing the designers, stores, and prices for everything I’m wearing. Gotta do that publicity thing! X D

Each outfit can be either a mix/match of things from different designers or a set from a single artist. Depends on my mood naturally…

This is my premiere blog and what better way to introduce myself than with a professional outfit. Uber-business cool…everyone (almost) has got to love an av in a nice suit. This is the Black and Platinum Pinstripe suit by Made Men. There are other color options available but this one caught my attention and yanked hard. Brought to mind old gangster movies…and well…all the wicked things that those images entail…

The suit coat and shirt are a single piece with an additional sleeve shaper option. It also comes packaged with some subtle bling bits—buttons and cuff links—which are optional. The bling particle effect is striking in small doses. The choice option also eases a bit of the lag problem. This is good if your computer is as old as mine. Poor thing goes into virtual vapor lock if I even so much as think about asking it to do anything during peak hours… Smacks self upside head…return to topic now. The relevant information follows…Black and Platinum Pinstripe suit by Rockwell Maltz at Made Men (Made 84, 208, 52) for 450L. The pinstripes are elegantly understated and the tie and pocket square look as though they were hand painted (yum…is my artistic prejudice showing again?). That level of detail reminds me of some of the RL hand painted fabrics I’ve seen…

I’m currently wearing the ‘Depp’ skin by Rockwell Maltz, found at Made Men (2000L) and my hair is ‘TextureChange Badass Braidz’ by Booperkit Moseley, available at BooPerFunk (BooPerFunk 232, 26, 23) for 800L.

Now for the accessories… The silver goggles are *=eat me=* aviator goggles by Philo Sion, 250L at Hybrid Street (Gnoma 8, 193, 47).

The shoes are Sparkling silver also by Shiny Things (catch a theme going here?). The design is the Flare Oxfords for men in silver. They remind me of a pair that I own in RL. Totally impractical but still fun. Shoes and jewelry can be found at Shiny Things (Shiny Falls 171, 182, 37). The shoes are 300L and the necklace is 400L. Both were made by Fallingwater Cellardoor.

Everything is tied together in a very professional look that wouldn’t be out of place in a SL job interview or a RL one for that matter. Of course it didn’t look too bad when I flew into Help Island on my matching Avispa…cup of espresso firmly in hand. The Avispa scooter by Shan Bright came from Bright Corporation HQ and Main Store (Pouncival 28, 95, 66) for 400L.
