New(ish): Tube socks @ SiniStyle Design

Oh my God, you’re thinking. I know you are. Socks. Why is he reviewing socks? What, you never got socks for Christmas?
Socks are kind of an interesting beast in SL. By that I mean mostly that there aren’t many around. The only socks I have are some tube-style socks I got at American Apparel, a few pair that came included with shoes I bought (a trend I wish more designers would adopt, there’s your hint for the week), and a few pair that I…shudder…made myself. You’re probably in the same situation. Or maybe you’re one of those guys who, as Nick pointed out earlier, don’t bother to wear socks. Maybe that’s just because you don’t have any. Well, now you have no excuse. Krius Misfit of SiniStyle Design recently released a collection of socks that, trust me, you can’t live without.
First up is classic tube-style sock (pictured above). Your mom bought these for you by the dozen when you were in junior high, so you remember them well. These are perfect for everyday wear under jeans, with shorts and sneakers, or just lounging around the house. (Not with sandals, though. Seriously. Please.) There’s a twist, though–you knew there would be, right? You can also get a grungy, roughed-up set that looks dirty, torn, faded and just about worn out. This is bound either to make somebody in your life very happy or to provoke a huge fight.
Each set includes socks in Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet, Grey, and Black. In case you’re wondering, no, you can’t mis-match the colors when you put them on. You can buy them separately for L$150 per set or in a pack of both sets for L$250. Available at the SiniStyle Design Main Store (Hydes 234, 239, 212) and at SiniStyle Design at The New Block (Endicott 158, 68, 505).
