New: Wimbledon For Men @ A2NZ by Raindrop Drinkwater (The Cruise Vol. 1)

When Kandi Babe suggested we go on a cruise, well, I said, a cruise? In SL? Is there such a thing? Well, she just whipped out these brochures with this huge ship, a ship like I’ve never seen before. So, I thought, ok, a cruise might be nice. I mean, all this modeling work is hard you know. It would be nice to have a vacation you know. So, we signed up for a week and rented a cabin on the aftdeck and took a transport to the ship. And I must say, the brochures don’t do it justice! It’s amazing.
So ok, it’s the first day of the cruise and Kandi Baby pulls out these tennis outfits she’s packed. We need to do some sports, she says, and tennis is a good one to learn. So ok, I put on the outfit she handed me, and it’s a nice blue tennis outfit fit for a Wimbledon champ! A white and blue outfit with a tinge of light green, the blue running off the shoulders and a green swipe down the midriff on the shirt and the blue pants striped with the same green on the side. So, ok, maybe tennis would be a good sport to take up! It’s fairly early, Kandi Babe just likes to get up with the birds, and so not a lot of people are stirring yet. So we head out on deck, all decked out if you will with our tennis outfits and rackets, and Kandi Babe knows she’s seen a tennis court on the ship. Well, we headed out to the deck and started looking for the tennis court. Well, I hadn’t seen hide nor hare about a tennis court on the ship, but I wasn’t about to say that to Kandi Babe! Once she gets her mind set, well, never mind! The first thing we happened upon was the pool. Wow, Kandi Babe said! She’d never seen such a nifty pool. And it was nifty for sure. But she got silly and pushed me in! So, back we went, me not saying anything. Luckily she packed enough for a month, but that’s just Kandi Babe.
I figured I’d have to just wear some old shorts, but she handed me another set of tennis clothes! This time in red! The were as cute as the blue set! This time the accent was a purple. The outfit fit so well and was so comfortable, it would make playing tennis such fun! Of course Kandi Babe had to change into the matching outfit! So, off we went again! This time we came across these big doors on the top deck and Kandi Babe just had to see what was behind them. Well, when you open those doors, it was cold! There was an ice rink in there! Well, Kandi Babe just loves to skate so she got all excited and ran out onto the ice with her tennis shoes on, and I can tell you, those tennis shoes were not made for the ice! To say she sat down on the ice is putting it mildly! Well, that didn’t set well at all! Now I have to change again! she said. Ok, I might have rolled my eyes a bit, but hey, it was just ice. So, back we went to the cabin, this time Kandi Babe pulled out a sleek pink tennis outfit just like the others and I’m thinking she was planning on us playing tennis every day of the week! You have to change too! she said. But I didn’t get dirty, I protested. But I have them all set so we wear matching outfits. Well, you don’t argue with Kandi Babe you know, so I just put out my hand and she gave me this greenish-brown outfit that was just so nice! It was in the same design as the others, this one still with the green swatch across the shirt and onto the shorts. I was starting to like this tennis idea! Well, it didn’t exactly match her pink one, but I wasn’t going to be the one to speak up! Ok, off we went again, this time along the port side of the deck. Hey! I said as we came across a basketball court.
Well, if you know me, you know me, you know I’m always up for a game! I heard an audible sign from Kandi Babe, but I wasn’t letting her off the hook so easy! Come on, you know you love to play! I said. Well, it took a bit of cajoling, but the competitive side finally took hold and she grabbed the ball and said, Let’s go! Well, it ended up being a low scoring game I guess you might say. She does play some mean defense and so do I, so it was a while before one of us scored, and it just happened to be me. That was not a good idea! Ok, we’re supposed to be playing tennis! she said. Yes, I know babe! And now I’m all sweaty! Well, I wasn’t going to say that tennis makes you sweaty too, so off we went back to the cabin. This time she came out with matching yellow outfits that were fit for any tennis pro! It was the same design as the others, this time with a blood-red stripe across the shirt and pants. The white piping along the short pockets accented the outfits superbly. Ok, I was really getting into this tennis, too bad we hadn’t actually played yet.
Ok, so then we headed out again! Let me tell you, that boat is one huge boat! We searched the whole boat over and no tennis! As we were both about to drop, we passed the theater, and wouldn’t you know, “Titanic” was playing. Not quite apropos for a ship this size I wouldn’t think, but hey, it was our favorite movie! Kandi Babe squealed when she saw the poster, and of course we had to go in. By the time it was over, we were beat and famished. I didn’t know tennis could take so much out of you!
