Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. Hope you enjoyed it and the kids were good to you.

Keeping the intro short, since I want to get this out as soon as possible.

The update I primarily want to bring to your attention is that Jesseaitui Petion of Renown By Aitui has added The 6 colours to several of his hairstyles. The previously released cuts which were exclusively in black are now being sold in ash blond, golden brown, brown, strawberry blond, red and black. “Convincing”, “Frontal Shag” and “Sway” have currently been revised with the new textures with the other styles to follow. He applies the colours to a new style.

secondthoughts_snapshot_006_1.jpgSecond Thoughts (2t) by Solivar Scarborough
MoA Fedora (175L)

Charming and heroic, this brown felt hat may stir images of Harrison Ford as the adventurous Indiana Jones or Dan Akyroyd and James Belushi as the much pursued Jake and Elwood Blues. The hat itself can be paired with formal or informal pieces to create a sense of mystery and elegance. Silas’s sculpted interpretation of the classic piece has been textured with a rough and tumble appearance which adds a dimension of personality. The hat attaches to the right ear so wearing will not embarrassingly de-wig you.

Available @ Lo Lo (85, 63, 31).

Chained (175L), Pinstriped pants (175L), Tux Shirt (100L)

Keeping up the momentum of weeks gone by, male audiences have three additional apparel choices from [Random]: two graphic tees and a pair of casual pinstripe pants. With “Chained” your neck and shoulders are screened with some massive bling and medallions in 4 metallic shades on black. Garbage also brings us his interpretation of the tuxedo shirt with this own hand-painted style. And finally, his psintripe pants have a casual appeal that would be complimented well by informal shirt and accessories. HAIR

random_snapshot_009.jpg[Random] by Garbage Prototype
“Anthony” hair (150L each, 350L/5-pack, 550L/10-pack, 950L/15-pack)

A slightly longer fringe-cut style is reminiscent of the early mod cut of the Beatles, in which was considered to be outrageous and controversial after its introduction. The shaggy mop top hair is cropped around the ears and sweeps mysteriously across the face, obscuring one eye. Unlike Ringo, you won’t have to coiffe “Anthony” with the help of Brylcreem brand hair grease. The cut is just as chic today as it was when young girls cried to the tune of “I Wanna Hold Your Hand”. Please try the 1L demo of this slick, mod hair before purchase and ensure to read the enclosed notecard as Garbage has designed a single-dye system to determine your desired hair colour.

Available @ Louise (56, 113, 651).

renown_snapshot_015.jpgRenown By Aitui by Jesseaitui Petion
“Last Flight” hair (175L each)

In addition to the retexture of his previous hair styles, Jesseaitui brings followers of his brand a new style. “Last Flight’s” tresses hang loosely along the sides of the face with a lightly feathered crown. When I asked a female acquaintance who is one of L.A.’s most accomplished stylists and an SL designer what she thought of this coiffe she commented, “It’s modern and stylish without being overdone. It’s nice. I would wonder where he get his hair done”. This hair is now available in 6 colours - ash blond, golden brown, brown, strawberry blond, red, black - with 1L demos in-store, so, please try before you buy.

Available @ Aitui (200, 175, 27).

Nice stuff this week. I love the hat :)

    Tysm for including me.

I just wanted to let anyone interested in my products, and ryan and cat, Know that i actually tossed the name “Renown” about a week or so ago. It caused more confusion than I ever thought it would. Im just simply known as “Aitui” now and am working to remove “Renown” from all clothing boxes

There are various mini maps around my sim where you can quickly TP to the hair part of my shop. :)

While this is a bit of a nuisance to remove it right now, in the long run i feel it will beneficial to my business.

Too bad, i liked the name “Renown”. Always thought it has a certain, unique profile, something to recognize immediately.

  • 4. Garbage Prototype  |  June 18th, 2007 at 12:29 pm

Thank you very much for the mention! :)

Whoah! Red hair from Jesse. Somebody’s going shopping tonight. ;)

I liked the name Renown too, but hey–the designer gets to make the call. I’ve updated Jesse’s designer tag for this site to read simply “Aitui” and we’ll do our best to use the simpler moniker going forward. Old habits die hard, though, so don’t hold it against us if we slip up and say “Renow–I mean, Aitui” once or twice before we get it down.

I did love Renown too!!! but, don’t worry, Ryan, I won’t beg our dear designer neither do a revolution! :-)

LOL, thank you Ben! Let’s try to keep the rioting to a minimum. ;)

  • 9. Jesseaitui Petion  |  June 18th, 2007 at 8:03 pm

Hi guys. I liked it, too. lol Ill still have it on the door of the clothing shop but as far as the tagging and naming of items go, I wont anymore. If i leave ‘renown’ on the door I figure it will help tell that the clothing IS there, but by branding all boxes with ‘aitui’ no one will be mistaken that the products are by someone else :)

It has a nice ring to it, but what was happening is people that shopped at my tattoo store for instance, were not venturing there because they did not know it was mine. More importantly, I researched this name to TM it and someone had it, so if these people ever opened office in SL (Which is possible) I would have to get rid of the name. Id rather stop using it now, then have everyone know the name and then be forced to do away with it.

I just want it to be made very clear that that whole string of shops is by “Aitui”…Which is also why I placed various maps around the sim in hopes to get the tattoo customers knowing that i also sell more than just tattoos :)
