New: Street Shoes @ [Renegade] Clothing
Something new from Kaejo DaSilva of [Renegade], these Stitches Street Shoes are just out and ready for your casual road-trippin’ enjoyment. Sporting a detailed canvas texture, high-contrast white stitching and laces, and bright white rubber toes and soles, these are a whole lot like the ones you had when you were a kid. You probably wore them when you played Kick-the-Can, when you rode your bike, when you were skateboarding. Maybe you even grabbed your Mom’s bottle of Clorox and a rag every once in a while to touch up the toes, so they’d stay nice and bright. I know I did.
You stashed them in a locker at the roller rink, even though it cost a quarter, and you were really careful to clip the locker key to your belt loop so you wouldn’t lose it, even if you fell down. You made certain to wear them for Hide-and-Seek because you knew that they made you the absolute fastest runner you could ever be. You could never be caught in those shoes, not by anyone. Your Mom tried to throw them out once, because they were so dirty and beat-up, but you fished them out of the trash “because they still fit!”…even though they kind of didn’t any more. You ultimately lost that battle, though, because they did finally disappear for good. You got new shoes, of course, and they were great too, but somehow never quite the same.
Go on, buy yourself a little nostalgia. These are almost as good as re-reading Dandelion Wine. They might not bring back that perfect summer day of boyhood. Then again, they just might.

These would be great in real life! I was pretty stoked when Converse starting making a major comeback. I bought myself a pair immediately when they brought their old styles back. I was told that they ‘looked ugly’ but 6 months later everyone was wearing them.
Now, if they could bring back these sneakers as well, that would be great. I can get plenty of converse lookalikes around here for a lot less, but they only last like a few months and then you need to throw them away. My converse’s have lasted well over 2 years and still going strong.
Excellent shoes! I would wear them all the time if I could!
