New: Rock god gear @ Winter Moon

When I first saw the new rock-star gear from designer Arbel Vogel of Winter Moon, I thought, “Oh, I know who would love this stuff.”  And then I thought, “Wait a minute…I know who should model this for me!”  Fortunately my powers of persuasion are not insignificant and my friend Tekkie Figtree agreed to pose for me.  I was lucky enough to catch him at a gig as well (he’s a member of the SL band MudSlinger), so you can see both him and the gear in action, not just all pretty in the studio.  Arbel’s “Rawk On” sets include jacket-layer top and leather pants with appropriately satanic metal-studded belt.  The open jacket is enhanced by a stand-up prim collar, prim rolled cuffs on the sleeves, and flexiprim jacket bottom.  The pants are taken to the next level by sculpted-prim cuffs complete with padlock-and-chain accents and not-so-subtle bling.

No rock god is complete without vices, and close inspection of the jacket pockets reveal all the evidence you could need to keep your daughters safely at home: a pack of Camels in the left pocket, condoms in the right.  Groupies beware!

“Rawk On” is available with Black, Leopard, and Purple Leopard jackets (of course).  The leopard jackets are lined with shiny red satin; the black jacket has simple black lining.

The print jackets wrap leopard spots from front to back, and the look is striking, to say the least–truly a classic. 

The simpler black jacket features custom artwork across the upper back, probably fallout from that time the tour bus broke down in Albuquerque.  God, we were all so drunk…who knows?

Included for the de rigeur leather pants are optional sculpted-prim cuffs, shown in close-up at right.  I’m not sure what the chains and padlock are supposed to be protecting; presumably it’s neither your chastity nor your virtue.
