New: Retro shirts @ Artilleri

First things first–a thank-you shout out to reader Alexander LaPointe Lapointe (I hope that’s spelled correctly; you should see my handwriting…or not), who brought these great new men’s shirts to my attention. Keep the suggestions coming!
And next things next–how awesome is this build? If for no other reason, you have to drop by to check out the great Googie styling of the Artilleri store–it’s amazing! But believe me, you’ll want to do some shopping as well.
Designer Antonia Marat already had a pretty good thing going, but this new collection of retro men’s shirts is killer. You can see the entire new collection below, but first let’s take a closer look at a few of my favorites. Up first is “Television,” a georgeous buttoned shirt with bold graphics, muted colors and short short sleeves. Too much fun!
Next we have “Bel Air,” a very Southern California, movie star, casual weekend in Palm Springs design with subtle Atomic Age artwork. Again, the short sleeves are very short, so make sure you’re getting to the gym regularly! All these shirts are worn on the jacket layer.
I love bowling shirts, and the design on this one is among the best I’ve seen. It’s called “Bowlorama!’ and the name is completely appropriate. The snappy teal color is perfectly set off by the sharp black trim and strong graphics, front and back.
I am all over any shirt that gives me something to look at on the back while all my friends are admiring the front. Not every style is appropriate for this treatment, but a bowling shirt is a natural. Round of applause!
This last one isn’t part of the new collection, but it’s so great I have to show it off here. Elvis is prominently featured in a striking two-color graphic on this great shirt, and it’s young Elvis, not Vegas Elvis. Fantastic!
All the new collection shirts are priced at L$120 while The King can be had for a mere L$70. The complete collection is pictured below. All these great shirts and more are available at Artilleri (Gama 205, 194, 37).

Thanks for the shout-out! (Note: It’s “Lapointe”. But no worries!)
I didn’t even see the Elvis shirt, great find!

A friend took me to this store on a quick stock up for a fashion change. I must say, this is by far my favorite store- I own EVER SINGLE ONE of the shirt for men onthe backwall. Oh, and the drummerpants fit just right.
Thanks!
