New: Men’s sarong sets @ Nicky Ree’s Boutique

Every so often, Nicky Ree does a little something for the guys.  I’m always glad to when this happens, because it’s always something fun and different.  You may remember (or own) her batik beachwear for men (reviewed previously).  This time she’s come up with four great men’s sarong sets in different patterns and colors–the perfect antidote to the autumn chill many of us are feeling in the air.

Now, you may not consider yourself the “outfit” type but bear with me.  These sets include the sarong (worn on the skirt layer) with prim waistband and coordinating pants, shirt (worn on the jacket layer for length) and swimsuit.  All pieces can be mixed and matched without fear of clashing–it’s better than Garanimals!  Pop culture warning: you may have to be of a certain age to get that reference. 

I’m wearing the “Kenue” set (not Keanu, at least not quite), which features brown and natural?colors.  Three other sets in different colors are available: “Sean”, in green and grey colors; “Paul”, in rainbow and white; and “Victor”, in purple tones.  You can see in the ad artwork that not only the colors but the patterns are unique in each set.
