New: Men’s jewelry @ Mhaijik Things

Sometimes I feel like such the evangelist, talking up Mhaijik Guillaume’s jewelry designs every chance I get.  I really can’t stop, though, and I think she deserves it.  As usual, she’s been creatively busy of late, and there are several new pieces for men worth checking out at her shop.  Here you see her new Gypsy Necklace, which features three highly detailed, mysteriously colored rings of multi-colored precious metal strung on a knotted leather cord.  The design is simple but striking, and the fit is impeccable–it was very easy to adjust the placement on my avatar, and it really looks like I’m wearing the necklace, not just floating it around my neck.  Brava, Mhaijik!  The Gypsy Necklace is available for L$250.

Here I’m wearing the Gypsy Tri Ring, which is beautifully fashioned of the same metals used for the rings of the Gypsy Necklace, so it matches perfectly.  The Gypsy Tri Ring is priced at L$125.  Cat mentioned some of Mhaijik’s other new pieces in his recent fashion digest post, so be sure to give that a look too–it’s a good read. 

The Rectangles Ring comes in several different finishes to match and coordinate with Mhaijik’s Rectangles Bracelets, which are similar in style to the previously featured Gecko Bracelet.  I love the rich finish and warm tones of the copper ring you see here.  The Rectangles Rings are available for just L$50 each.

The Golden Pinky Ring might just be The Accessory You Never Knew You Needed.  With its large, square-cut faceted stone in warm amber and the ornate scrollwork detailing of the ring in white and yellow gold, this might be one of the most elaborate of Mhaijik’s new designs.  Maybe it’s just me, but somehow it seems entirely appropriate that a pinky ring should be a little showy rather than simple and understated!  This ring is appropriately sized a little smaller to fit your pinky and automatically places there when worn.  The Golden Pinky Ring can be yours for L$250.
