New: Men’s casuals @ Simone! Design

If you haven’t yet seen any of Simone Stern’s new styles for men, it’s time for a quick trip over to Simone! Design.  She has some fun casual outfits at great prices that won’t wreck your budget!  My personal favorite is this sweater and jacket set, which comes with striped and plain sweaters, black jacket, and jeans.  The set actually comes with two pairs of jeans, one marked “plain” and another marked “striped.”  Why is this, you may wonder?  This is because Simone has done something really clever.  The sweaters are worn on the shirt layer, which ordinarily would mean it looks like the sweater is tucked into your pants.  However, the jeans in this set include an extension of the sweater pattern at the top.  This means you can get the look of wearing a long jacket-style sweater under the jacket!  I live for stuff like this.  :D  It also means that you can’t really pair these jeans with other tops you may have, but at these prices I consider that a non-issue.

The jacket itself is worn in two pieces on the jacket and skirt layers, which allows the jacket to have a longer hem that doesn’t, uhm, ride up.  You know what I’m talking about.  Of course the sweaters can be worn either with or without the jacket, so you actually get four different looks from this set.  The jacket design is simple and classy, with a nice shine to the fabric.  Black clothing doesn’t always look detailed or even really black, but this is a great piece.  The sweaters are also simple in design, but very comfy-looking with great textures.  The jeans have a a strong, clear color that contrasts well with the dark sweaters and jacket, and as I mentioned before they also give you the look of a long sweater under your jacket.  What really amazes me is that Simone is selling her great menswear sets for just L$195!  (Formalwear prices are higher.)  She has a variety of outfits in different styles and colors (see below), so there’s something for everyone.
