New: Male Skins @ Adam n Eve

Designer sachi Vixen has been hard at work on her new line of male skins, called “Cain.” They are now available at Adam n Eve (Genesis 192, 150, 35), currently in five skin tones with 18 facial hair options, and of course smooth and hairy torsos.

When she got in touch with me, sachi mentioned that she had noticed my red hair and wanted to give me the opportunity to check out these new skins that include red hair options, including corresponding eyebrows and body hair. (The red facial and body hair options are not available in the darkest tan tones.) She said she felt it was time she made available a wider range of options for the guys, which is always nice to hear!

These skins are all hand-painted, which is a different look from from more photo-real skins, and one that sachi prefers, saying she finds it more realistic in a virtual world.

I found them to be nicely detailed, with good definition but not highly muscled. The detailing on the back is very well done, with a nice sense of the curve of the spine that you don’t always see. I think these skins will look especially good on avatars that are slim and not bulky.

The facial hair is also well done, and the dizzying array of 18 options, including mustache, goatee and beard, means you should have no trouble coming up with just the right look for your avatar, especially since you can match pretty much any hair color family. My first purchased skin was a Bodyskin by Nora male skin, and it allowed me to have red eyebrows. Now sachi makes that possible again, so if you’re a redhead, you’ll definitely want to check these skins out! In these pictures I am wearing the “Cain” male skin, tone 2, smooth torso, with the Red Goatee facial hair option.

These new male skins are available at Adam n Eve (Genesis 192, 150, 35) as single skins with one hair option for L$1250 each (sachi plans to make color packs available in the future). Demo skins and a skin tones demo pack are available for L$1 each, so you can try on one (or several) demo skins before making your purchase decision.
