New: Low-top sneaks @ KK Outfitters

I’ve been wearing Arycon Fasching’s high-top sneakers from KK Outfitters for what seems like ages now but I’m sure is just a few months. I had a chance to chat with him when I first picked up his high-tops (his vendor was having some kind of glitch, and he came right over to deal with it when I sent him an IM, because that’s the kind of guy he is) and he mentioned then that he had low-tops in the works. That dream has at last become reality–his new low-tops are out, and they’re awesome! The new “Lo-Top Kool Kicks” feature shiny rounded toes, a retro waffle-texture front edge, sporty stripe around the sides and back, way cool patterned rubber sole (something to look at while you’re flying), grommeted lace and ventilation holes, and nifty “KK” brand logo tags on the heel.
They are available in men’s and women’s sizes in the following colors: Black & White Camo, Black, Blue Camo, Blue, Brown, Desert Camo, Forest Camo, Gray, Green, Green Camo, Light Purple, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red (pictured), Turquoise, White, Yellow, and Yellow Jacket. Demos are available in-store, so you can try before you buy. Many designers make demos available for hair and skins, but I think this is the first time I’ve seen shoe demos. Talk about customer service!
Available for L$200 per pair at KK Outfitters (Plush Kappa 96, 158, 22). The high-top version is still available in all the same colors, plus one cool graphic design not available on the low-tops, I’m guessing because there’s just not enough room–drop by and check that out for yourself! :) Also be sure take a look at the Journeys Leather Sandals, one of my favorite sandals in SL. I’m guessing you’ll take a pair home.
Arycon also mentioned that he has some other great stuff in the works, including (as I recall) belts and tattoos. So make a point of checking back once in a while, or join his update group so you don’t miss a single episode!

[...] Designer Arycon Fasching of KK Outfitters makes some of my favorite sneakers in SL–his high-tops and newer low-tops are fun interpretations of classic styles. Now he’s added skateboarding sneaks to his Slicks line of shoes, and it’s been worth the wait because they’re beautiful! Arycon’s new “Strykers” skater sneaks feature a tongue at the shoe heel, full prim laces with bow, plastic end caps on the laces, metallic grommets, sleek swoop logos on the sides, and realistic bumpy sole textures. These are great-looking shoes that really benefit from careful attention to prim and texture detailing. Although they are currently available only in snappy Black and Gray (pictured), Arycon reports that more color schemes are in the works, including Tan, Brown, Gray, White and Olive Green.
