New: Freebie tee @ Bossa Nova

I have to say, the recent complete and total borking of inworld Search has left me somewhat high and dry. I’m completely lame about making landmarks and keeping them organized and current. (I’m sure everyone else reading this has their landmarks properly filed and cross-referenced…right?) This leaves me at something of a loss when I try to find shop locations, either to make purchases or just to confirm pricing and other details. At times like this, it’s a good thing I have a handful of “backlogged” items for review, because it’s a cinch I’m not buying much new until Search and Map are working again.
Moire Georgette of Bossa Nova comes to our rescue today with her new “Mind the Lag” tee. If you’ve ever ridden the Tube in London (sadly, I have not), you know Moire’s inspiration for this amusing take on that state of things, peculiar to SL, that afflicts us all. The pack includes women’s and men’s versions of the tee, in short and long styles, on different clothing layers–undershirt, shirt and jacket, with tuckable length extensions on the underwear layer. The fabric is nicely textured with realistic but not heavy-handed wrinkles front and back, and the women’s versions (not pictured, ha-ha) feature more pronounced shading appropriate for female avatars. In a fit of generosity or perhaps craziness, Moire is letting this go for just L$1! Get yours before she changes her mind.
Available at Bossa Nova (Dos Corazones 79, 122, 25).

Ryan, I use SLoog. I can tag my landmarks with various tags like skins, clothing, hair, mens, womens, etc. then I can go into my 7 pages of landmarks and pull up all my skin landmarks. It really helps me with blogging cause I can just throw in the SLoog address and I don’t have to log into SL if I only need to look up a landmark.

I get comments and laughs every time I wear this shirt. Nice job, and a freebie to boot! And remember … if it’s free, take two!
Takeshi, we feel your pain. You may have heard this song, and if not, it might give you some amusement for your commute. (Danger! Broadly offensive content!)

Pretty cool. Is it a play on trademarks? Like the shirts that say Evil Inside are a play on Intel Inside? I don’t recognize it. Just curious
I like it for an almost-freebie.

Greg - you are correct, sir. Follow the links in the post (to the London Tube and Wikipedia sites) for more info.
