Men's Second Style

I can’t say enough nice things about Jonquille Noir’s men’s styles, available at Little Rebel Designs.  Her photosourced textures are among the best I’ve seen, and always used well in the construction of the clothing, never just slapped on with a “There you go, that’s good enough!”

I am completely crazy about her new Worker Jacket, which you see me wearing here in Navy (also available in Brown, Green and Grey).  The detailing is very nicely done, with smart-looking sleeve cuffs and a front zipper.  The killer touch, though, is the glitter-edged devil-babe silhouette graphic on the back–awesome!  Also included is a version with a plain back, I guess for more somber occasions.    I’m trying to think of situations where I would not want to show off a glittery devil-babe on my back…but…no, I can’t think of any.  Still, it’s good to have the choice.

Perfect for pairing with the Worker Jacket are the new Contrast Stitch Jeans, which come in Blue, Grey and Sepia (pictured).  I love the creases at the knees (front and back), and the contrasting stitchwork gives some visual interest to jeans that would otherwise be pretty basic–the back pockets are especially snappy.

I appreciate it when designers put some effort into making the back sides of their clothing designs as visually interesting appealing as the front sides.  After all, we spend a fair amount of time looking at the back of our avatars!  I always appreciate the extra design effort, and as you can see in Jonquille’s case the result isn’t just extra design detail for its own sake.

Other new designs are the Dobby Shirts and Linen Drawstrings Pants (see below for ad art).  Due to time and budget constraints, I wasn’t able to try these out, but they look great too!  Hey, even I can’t try on absolutely everything.
