New Designer: Brutal Gear by Nex Brannan

I met Nex Brannan randomly a few weeks ago through a mutual friend. He was relatively new to Sl at the time and said he was working on learning to make clothing. I told him to let me know when he had some stuff to show, and a couple of days ago he dropped a bunch of stuff on me to check out. I wanted to hold off posting until he had a store set up so you can actully get the stuff.
The style overall so far is your classic male casual, with a bit of hip alternative edge. What impressed me the most was the quality of the execution. I know there are 745617391246 places to get jeans, but Nex’s have some great details. First off the color is great which is actually hard for jeans. The seams on these too are very well done with the actual seam of the pants leg camoflaging the texture seam, and I love the “sit creases” on the upper legs.
Nex also made a couple of “denim” jackets although one is green and the other is gray. These have nice hand drawn collars and are open to the waist. The backs sport faded original artwork Nex created himself (ask him to show you his amazing hand drawn tattoo). I like these for their versatility and that you can mix up different looks since you can see the shirt underneath. He has a few t-shirts in the mix of new products as well.

There are also a few prim offerings from Brutal Gear. He has made a set of shades in different colors which are not overdone. Also, there is a braided leather necklace with a skull medallion.
All the prices are low (all L$150 or less) and he has set up shop in the back of Sand Shack Surf Co. Hopefully we will be seeing more from Nex soon.
