wintermoon_snapshot_001.jpgIf upon hearing any reference to the rules of Fight Club your mind first runs on Winter Moon’s Tyler Durden collection you are an official Second Life addict and a complete Arbel Vogel junkie. There’s no hope for you. Your only consolation is in the fact that it’s time to get your next WM fix. Whether you’re riding your Vespa down the narrow cobblestone of Parioli, letting your Ducati loose on the streets of Barcola or lounging at The High Society in Otherland you’re sure to streamline your performance with these sleek Cycle jackets.

Arbel has christened the year with a unisexy collection of 3 sets of rugged mandarin-collar leathers. The initial aesthetic appeal of the jackets lies in the attentiveness in detailing. The Specialty leathers in particular are unique - layered with brusque motifs: biting metal, unabashed nationalism and the restlessness of the witching hour. The artistic approach somewhat softens the harshness, attributing to the gender flexibility of the clothing.

The second visual impact is brought on by the dual glossy-and-matte anime vibe (I just made up that phraseology and I’m sticking with it), as they appear to be gently scuffed and worn in some places while burnished in others. The mottled fabric is diffused by soft light elements, easily making these some of my favorite pieces to wear. While wearing these I’ve been asked so many times where I got them from. Now, with eight shiny new jackets in my wardrobe I’ve got enough currency in fashion for every day of the week with change to spare.

Here’s an overview of the collection:

wintermoon_snapshot_005.bmpThe Basics (3) @ 175L/jacket: black; brown; two-tone black and white with clean and dirty versions • The Retros (2) @ 150L/jacket: white with black piping across the chest and arms; black with white piping • The Specialties (3) @ 150L/jacket: “Barbed” wrap-around pronged wire theme; “Boneyard” with a harrowing moon against the midnight sky on the back panel and flaming skulls on the shoulders; “The Patriot”, bearing a tastefully watermarked American flag across the abdomen. All jackets are styled with angled besom pockets above the waist level. The basic jackets in black, brown and two-tone have additional angled pockets framing the chest.

If you’re trying to pull off that fast and furious Vin Diesel look, whether for in-world biking or simply for street fashion, race down to Winter Moon and pick up these and other fine apparel exclusively at Canimal (62, 95, 26). Keep your eyes peeled, peoples. Arbel promises to have more buzz-worthy items available in the coming weeks.
