New: “Careless” hair by Tami McCoy

I first came across Tami McCoy’s hair designs at this year’s Hair Fair and went crazy over her effortlessly casual styles, her realistically detailed hair textures, and her beautiful color selection.  Just out at her shop is the new style you see here, called “Careless.”  While this style may demonstrate the carefree nature of its name, its design and construction are anything but.  The apparently uncombed strands reflect the care a professional stylist would put into creating the same illusion of random, accidental perfection–Tami is meticulous so you don’t have to be.  When you see Orlando Bloom or Johnny Depp walking down the red carpet with perfectly mussed hair, you may think it’s genetics, but no–it’s actually the result of a $400, two-hour visit with the hot Beverly Hills stylist du jour.  Fortunately for you, though, you can make Tami your own personal stylist without breaking the bank!

“Careless” has a well defined shape but a shaggy feel overall.  It has enough length to fall down softly over one eye and hide the ears almost completely.  Straying loose strands and flexi accents make this a perfect casual summer hairstyle for both men and women.

“Careless” is available in ten different colors; shown here in Wine, my personal favorite.  Individual colors are priced at L$250 each; light and dark packs of five colors are available for L$1000.  Demos are available in the shop.
