New: Boho Sandals @ Shiny Things

March 30th, 2007 at 02:06pm Ryan Darragh

boho_sandals.jpgAny day the guys get new shoes from designer Fallingwater Cellardoor of Shiny Things, it’s a good day.  Any day I find great new sandals to add to the wardrobe, it’s a good day.  Hey, I think this is going somewhere!  Fallingwater’s just-out Boho Sandals are a great addition to my SL shoe collection, which is fast approaching Imelda proportions.  It’s definitely a good day.  ;)

Unsurprisingly, the design on these sandals is gorgeous, with beautiful embossed leather construction enhanced by gleaming metal accents.  Fallingwater has previously included smaller and larger sizes with her men’s shoes for ease of fitting, but with these sandals she’s really gone the extra mile.  No fewer than five different versions are included, fitted for foot sizes 0, 10, 20, 30 and 40.

boho_sandals_close.jpgHaving the option of smaller and larger sizes for closed shoes is great, but for sandals it’s absolutely a blessing as your feet are visible and not concealed by the shoes–there’s no disguising a sandal’s fit being slightly “off.”  Kudos to Fallingwater for this thoughtful touch!

The Boho Sandals come in four colors:  Reddish, Brown, Tan, and Black.  I love the rich color and texturing on the Reddish pair you see here, but I expect I’ll be going back for the Brown ones as well.  And maybe the Tan, while I’m at it.

Available for L$25o a pair at Shiny Things (Shiny Falls 171, 182, 37).

[...] even without scripts or sparkle: Fallingwater Cellardoor’s Boho for men. You’ve written about them before, but they remain favourites and I can’t imagine an article on sandals not mentioning them. [...]
