civvies_snapshot_003.jpgOn my honor, I will do my best:
To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law
To help other people at all times
To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight

Pfft.

When the other boys were concerned with outdoor activities that would develop teamwork and leadership skills while building self-confidence the Bad Boy Scout was only interested in learning to set bigger, more glorious fires, torturing small animals and fooling around with the girl campers on the other side of the lake. His overzealous parents enrolled him in the character-building organization to set him on a path to Harvard or Yale, instead, he emerges as a seasoned firearms expert and gunsmith, knife thrower and arsenist. Living contrary to the image of the wimpy outdoorsy nerd he steps outside of Scout Law and throws his oath, like caution, to the wind.

To compliment the rascal footwear which was made available in early June, Posy Trudeau has issued her War-Torn shirts this week. Both the boots and shirts are available in female versions in-store.

civvies_snapshot_004.jpgBad Boy Scout boots (325L): These scuffed black leather boots come with upper and lower boot attachments as well as some added extras one might need to beef up outdoor survival methods. First and foremost the left boot has a Boy Scout medal given for heroism tucked between the tongue and laces. It is also tied with a green canvas strap secured with a silver emblemed buckle to keep a compact-sized bottle of Golden Standard Whiskey in place. The inner flank of the boot the strap holds a map to keep track of one’s bearings.

civvies_snapshot_006.jpgOn the right, a compass is strung on a lace for optimal use with the map. Fastened with a crude section of rope this foot is laden with a pack of Smokes brand filtered cigarettes and a wooden handle multipurpose survival knife.

civvies_snapshot_005.jpgWar-Torn Gear (400L): Packaged in a prolific amount of pieces, War-Torn is an assortment of body-fit tanks, short sleeve tees and long sleeve tees. Each comes in brown, green and khaki in the undershirt, shirt and jacket layers (including shirt extensions for the non-jacket shirt in the underpants layer). That’s not all. Buyers have the choice of wearing one of three hopelessly frayed scarves in coordinate colours.

civvies_snapshot_007.jpgThe apparel looks like it has withstood some serious post-apocalyptic nuclear activity as it is seared through with a series of burn holes - the feature which really make the shirts work. Layering the tops creates a really unique affect that adds dimension. All-in-all, the shirt say, I’ve been through hell and back and I’m still standing.

civvies_snapshot_008.jpgPosy’s texture work is accurate and appropriate for the rugged nature of the vendibles. Artfully abrasive, scraggy and uncouth. Her style of personalized counter-culture items balances between the serious and lighthearted tones. These and other fine apparel ideal for chicanery can be found at the innovative {Plunder}Airship Outpost at Maggiore (127, 128, 601).

Loving the torn tops. Drifts from my style a bit but I may have to pick some up.
