Men’s Second Style website kiosks

If you’ve been by Donmai Frederick’s shop Back and Forth lately, you may have noticed the really quite stylish Men’s Second Style kiosk standing outside, right next to the Pixel Pinup “newsstand.” Click on the kiosk and it will ask permission to load the Men’s Second Style site in your default web browser. Click Yes and you’re off to…right here. Okay, so you probably don’t need a kiosk to find us. But, as hard as this may be for you to believe, there are still many, many poor souls out there who aren’t aware of Men’s Second Style and its status as the premier resource for men’s fashion in SL. This is our attempt to reach out to them…the ones who need us most.
How, you may be wondering, can I get one of these wonderful items? If you’re a member of the SL design community, you can get one from me–just IM me in-world and I’ll drop a copy in your inventory. In fact, I’ll be starting to hand these out this weekend to designers who have been featured here on Men’s Second Style, so yours may already be on the way or even waiting for you in your inventory. This version of the kiosk was designed for us by Donmai Frederick himself and weighs in at 13 prims. Many thanks to Donmai for sharing his design with us! A lower-prim version (7 prims), designed by our own Nick Shaftoe, is also available if you need to save a few prims. They are equally attractive, so the choice is yours. The kiosks are copiable, so you can place them at all your shop locations if you like, but no transfer–have your friends get in touch with me if they would like kiosks for their own shops. I have some other promotional ideas in the works, too, so stay tuned for further updates!

I got mine.
I plan to help out and put it upstairs of my men`s shop once the design is complete.
Its tasteful
My only “complaint” is its kind of hard to see that it is a mens second style vendor thing unless someone is familiar with the banner already. Could be just me though.
*Shuts up*

Based on some responses from other designers, we’ll also be including a larger version of the kiosk. If the larger size fits well in your shop, it should be easier to spot and make out the logo. Thanks for the feedback!

I was thinking a one prim item - looking rather like a magazine would be nice. I would set it on the table in my shoppe next to a sculpture.
I was thinking about seeing if I could take my kiosk apart to see how it ticked, and convert it into one prim. I have not attempted this yet ; )

This is a great idea, too! We are considering some other promotional ideas and will add this one to the list.
