Dragontat Zagato's jeans at Desert Moon Clothiers have always been clearly identified as "low rise," "very low rise" etc. Definitely agree that this is a very helpful, customer-friendly practice. I'm sure there are other designers who do this as well, DT is just one who comes immediately to mind for me.

I agree about mentioning the hip height. Though in my case that's because I only wear low-rise pants.

IMO the regular cut as defined by Linden Labs is way too high and makes me look like I can make a cameo appearance in Revenge of the Nerds

James Dean would love the jeans from Indigo. Right up his alley. Naughty jeans are also pretty basic, but a nice staple in the denim lineup. I like Armidi Limited's denim wall, but I think because they're all folded up on the wall that I haven't bought more than 1 pair.

I do agree with Kevin too where waist height really needs to be disclosed. I've had my fair share of mishaps back in the day with jeans that were low-rise, but never said that. It'd be wonderful if you could get 1 pair of jeans in 2 heights...that'd be great from usability standpoint and making the same pair of jeans work seamlessly with multiple outfits no matter what layer they're on.

The biggest issue I have with trying to find jeans is that most designers don't list on the vendor if they're "regular cut" or "hip huggers" and I end up deleting a lot of hip huggers and tossing Lindens down the toilet.

What style are the jeans you reviewed? Regular or hippy?
