Men's Second Style

I’ve been having some recurring issues with my wrists of a late, so typing has become more of a pain. Therefore, I’ll let the pictures do more talking and minimally explain the relevant information. First off, I’m wearing a free sweater, scarf, and sunglasses from the Rahz II Store. There’s also a free necklace available there too. The store has a 50L sale going on where some of the items (often packs of 2 to 3 shirts) are sold for only 50L. It doesn’t apply to every item in the store though, so keep an eye on prices. The items are mod no copy so pick up a few and tint away. The hair is Sleek in “Faded Chestnut”, available for 1L from ETD.

The skin and pants are from Random Industries, but available at GNUbie on the “new” third floor for 1L apiece. There are two different packages of pants, the pinstriped ones and the jeans (which show up below). The skin is 1L for a pack of five tones (and free red boxers). I found the darker skins didn’t look good on my usual shape, so I used the Mike Oxlong shape from Creamy Cooljoke, available at the FreeStyle HQ in Juicy. The shoes are no longer available, but were a weekly freebie at the Second Guy Mall. They are black Clogs from JCS. They unfortunately have a bling script in them. I believe the owner of JCS is willing to give you a non-bling version if you wish to purchase them, but you’d have have to contact him about it.

I’m wearing a different tone of the skin from Random in the next set, but still with the Mike Oxlong shape. Creamy… those hands.. they are HUGE. That or maybe I have small hands. Anyway, the jeans are the ones I mentioned above from GNUbie. They come in two tones, and in two waist heights. The jacket is a monthly freebie from WMD. Its, however, available only in the Sinatra location. Makes sense with the text, huh? I also switched to a hair style from Random at GNUbie, called Jack. Again, a fat pack is available for 1L.

Next up is the Koumori suite in dusk from silent sparrow, also available on the third floor at GNUbie. This time I used my normal shape with a Random skin. I found, oddly, the skins fit my shape better the lighter the tone is. Anyway, the lighting is a bit funky since I aligned the sun in Windlight (tm?) to illuminate the coat, so you can see the details. In normal lighting the details are a bit darker. The outfit is 0L, as is the chapparal jacket also available there. The hair is the other Random hairstyle ay GNUbie, Rick, which is also 1L for a fatpack. I paired the outfit with a pair of boots I found at the new Axis Mundi sim. They are part of a grand opening hunt that includes a lot of unisex clothing and artwork. The Axis Mundi Sculpted Boots by Katat0nik are limited edition (only 100 pairs available — mine were numbered 26) so hurry over and look.

Wild Thing has a bunch of freebies available at its store. They are spread out at 6 different sign posts around the store. There is a pants pack, a jacket and tshirt pack, boxers, a tshirt pack, a casual pack, and dungarees. I happen to like the dungarees. I threw on a tshirt underneath, but the Vivant skin has one that works too. Since I was in a fun mood, I decided to wear some fun hair I don’t usually get to wear. I picked up the Aaron black hair at Filigreemotion during their Easter Hunt. I’m also wearing the AFantasy Men’s Black Harley Engineer Boots from Free Dove.

Now here’s an old freebie I forgot to blog about. Its been in my inventory for a good few weeks just sitting there. El Trebol has a bunch of male gifts out on a table in the back of the store. I’m wearing three of them for the picture: the black PF jacket, a gift long sleeve t, and black cargo pants. There are also shirt-layer tank tops with the black cargos. Two versions are available — with a design, and without. The long-t and the tanks all come with underwear level extenders. I’m also wearing the lighter (smoke) cargo pants (a fourth gift) with the tank in that picture. The shoes are red plaid Co-Sneakers, which were also available in the Filigreemotion Easter Hunt. They’re 200L normally.

Finally, I’ve got the Darkbrown special edition of the Eric sweater from SC Design. This was a Second Guy freebie of the week a while back, but is now available at SC Design Male Store for 1L. Its both the brown t-shirt and the white long sleeves under — all on the jacket layer. I’ve paired it with dark wash Elephant Outfitters Classic Jeans, which are available for only 1L at the old EO location. There are multiple other jeans at the same price, and the store is in a permanent 50% (or more) off sale. Be careful, since there are only 7 pairs of male jeans at 1L. The last one on that second row is 65L.

Phew.. I’m out for now. I think. If I find more I’ll need to ice my wrists first. Hope that’ll last y’all for a while.
