Dressing as an Alphamale

Last Sunday, rather early in the morning, I saw a notice for new freebies from Alphamale. The first thought that crossed my mind was, “Finally, took Yelmer long enough … the girls had some freebie lingerie months ago!” I had been waiting a while for this and I was quite excited. Normally, when I get notices from large groups about an item, I tend to wait an hour because fighting for a spot on a full sim isn’t worth it — you can just wait a bit and there will be no one around landing on your head, etc. But after waiting about 30 seconds, I thought “Screw the others, I want that freebie” and teleported in. Luckily for me, not a lot of people are on Sunday mornings and the sim wasn’t too too crowded.
After chatting it up with Yelmer a bit (for the record, Yelmer and Mariska are very nice people — if you see them at the store y’all should say hello) I head home and tried on the new clothes. The wait was definitely worth it.
The gift pack includes a closed leather jacket, a clean white tee, and four sets of jeans. I’m wearing the leather jacket here with brown jeans. I really like the way Yelmer included three sizes for the collars in the jacket. Multiple sizes are always appreciated. Medium was a tad bit large for me, but I was able to shrink it down to a bit with no problem. The jeans are, well, jeans. Yelmer’s jeans have a rather distinctive style that I happen to like a lot, so I was glad to find them in blue, black, brown, and “original”, which is a sort of bluish black. I should also note that the jeans in the pack are not available elsewhere in the store.
Yelmer did an awesome job, essentially handing out n full outfit to us guys. Which leaves us with skin, hair, and accessories. My skin is group gift from Belleza, which I’ve recently confirmed is going to be a relatively permanent freebie. On my head is Faris, yet another dollarbie hair style for guys from Aemilia Case. I’ll admit that while I do like this style, its a bit harder to fit than her other two dollarbie styles at Philotic Energy. Its a bit wispier than the others, and I had a bit of trouble teasing it into place without losing that style. But, a little time and a little work makes for a a really nice looking hairstyle.
Inspired by the leather jacket and the wispy hair, I tried to find myself a pair of free racing goggles. Unfortunately, i couldn’t find any. But as I dug through my inventory I did come across these dollarbie disco sunglasses from Mokoptica, which to me looked like they could be fun racing/driving glasses. These are color-change scripted, with full, half, and graduated lens fill options. For the record, there are two other styles in store, but they have purple and pink frames, so I personally decided to pass on them.
Y’all might be curious about the little piercing I’m sporting. That’s a bit of a teaser for my own work. I couldn’t find a nice freebie piercing set so I set about making my own, and the vertical labret is my first piece. It’s just a simple curved barbell with spherical beads on the end. I’ll probably make a few ear and face pieces and pack em up as a dollarbie. If y’all like this piece by itself, leave a comment or two and I’ll set it out by itself.
