For my personal shape, I find that most Hoorenbeek fits very well. However, I understand completely your frustration, mesh can be a pain when it comes to sizing, and "standard sizing" isn't really the answer either.

I look at Mesh as being the thing most like RL. I'm a 34w in one store, and a 32 in another. Some stores I'm a medium shirt, sometimes I'm a large. This is without adding the terms of "skinny" to pants or "fitted" to shirts. Adding in terms like that, and then sizing really gets wonky.

Hoorenbeek has become a little controversial in the blogosphere, but I hope that the other pieces I put together inspire you to check out those designers, or create a really fun Spring outfit anyways :)

On the weekend of release, Hoorenbeek items are only 350L or so wich is very cheap for what you get. Sadly, their Mesh items might look good but they dont really fit (as usual). I have long sine given up shopping there.

Can't argue with you there. I hope I made it clear in my post that I too am concerned with how technological limitations here are limiting the ability to express oneself as an individual via the avatar's appearance. It can be a lot of fun to adopt different "looks", i.e. costumes, avatars (human and non-), and other ways of expressing either different facets of one's own complex identity or even another, completely different persona. It may even be fun, some of the time, to look like Kevin. At this point, I don't see mesh avatar technology lending itself successfully to unique individual expression.
