When I first saw the new rock-star gear from designer Arbel Vogel of Winter Moon, I thought, “Oh, I know who would love this stuff.” And then I thought, “Wait a minute…I know who should model this for me!” Fortunately my powers of persuasion are not insignificant and my friend Tekkie Figtree agreed to pose for me. I was lucky enough to catch him at a gig as well (he’s a member of the SL band MudSlinger), so you can see both him and the gear in action, not just all pretty in the studio. Arbel’s “Rawk On” sets include jacket-layer top and leather pants with appropriately satanic metal-studded belt. The open jacket is enhanced by a stand-up prim collar, prim rolled cuffs on the sleeves, and flexiprim jacket bottom. The pants are taken to the next level by sculpted-prim cuffs complete with padlock-and-chain accents and not-so-subtle bling. (more…)

If upon hearing any reference to the rules of Fight Club your mind first runs on Winter Moon’s Tyler Durden collection you are an official Second Life addict and a complete Arbel Vogel junkie. There’s no hope for you. Your only consolation is in the fact that it’s time to get your next WM fix. Whether you’re riding your Vespa down the narrow cobblestone of Parioli, letting your Ducati loose on the streets of Barcola or lounging at The High Society in Otherland you’re sure to streamline your performance with these sleek Cycle jackets.
Arbel has christened the year with a unisexy collection of 3 sets of rugged mandarin-collar leathers. The initial aesthetic appeal of the jackets lies in the attentiveness in detailing. The Specialty leathers in particular are unique - layered with brusque motifs: biting metal, unabashed nationalism and the restlessness of the witching hour. The artistic approach somewhat softens the harshness, attributing to the gender flexibility of the clothing. (more…)

The first rule of Fight Club is, you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is, you DO NOT talk about Fight Club!
There are some designers in SL that just do not get the proper recognition they deserve. I think there is a weird perception in game that quantity equals quality. Well folks, I am here to show you otherwise! If you have never been to Winter Moon by Arbel Vogel in Morgan, then you must move it to the top of your to do list immediately! That goes for the girls as well as the guys. She may not turn out 3 new things everyday like some of the big designers but everything she releases is the pinnacle of SL fashion! Also when you go, take your girls because you will find loads of kyoot stuff to buy them too!
The Tyler Durden Collection is a collection of all the tops that Brad Pitt worn as Tyler Durden in the movie Fight Club. With so many too choose from I had a hard time deciding which to wear for this blog but finally I decided on the TD Vintage shirt and jackets. Arbel gives you many different layer options. You can wear just the shirt, just the jacket or layered together. These are at the top of my favorites list and you can add them to your list for starting at just $L100. She even gives you two different layer options - jacket and shirt. The first time I wore Vintage with the Red Jacket, I must have had at least 5 people compliment me or ask me where it was from so they could go get one. Just remember… you DO NOT talk about Fight Club!
