New: Shirts @ Roxee

In celebration of the grand opening of her new main store location, designer Trinitee Trilam has released four new shirts for the guys.  I had a few minutes at last to try them all on yesterday, and they are just as beautiful as the shirts in her first men’s collection.  All are worn on the jacket layer for extra length and have a smart but casual feel that’s perfect for having fun on weekend outings and looking great at the same time.

This shirt is called “Dragon Strike,” and although it looks simple from the front, looks are deceiving in this case–the back features a stylized dragon design, its claws raised to attack.   Embroidery on the chest gives away who you stole this one from.  The simple grey-on-black color design is classic and striking, and a perfect match for Zabitan Assia’s inFORMer Sneaks in the “Manga” style.  Zab’s sneakers are some of my favorite casual shoes–with simple jeans and almost any shirt, you really can’t go wrong. New: Shirt collection @ Roxee

Designer Trinitee Trilam recently released a new collection of men’s casual shirts at Roxee.  You can see all the designs in the ad apart accompanying this post, but I am modeling the “Check Mate” design in Charkole and Steele colors so you can get an idea of how it looks and fits.

I love the asymmetrical artwork on this shirt, and the the contrasting collar, chest pocket and sleeve cuffs really make the design pop.  You’ll see that, even on the darker shirt, there’s a clear difference between the black trim items and the charcoal shirt background–it doesn’t all just blur together.  The hem spread below the buttom button gives it a realistic, almost-sloppy look.  This is a great shirt!
