So, I went away for a while. When I left, Mr. Oh had just started his reviews, and Catero had gone on hiatus. Now that I’m back, I see all these new guys. And they all look mighty familiar.
I became skinny goth emo boi because it seemed like every other guy in SL was big buff tan guy. But now that all I see on the blog are skinny dark-haired guys, I can’t keep it up. I gotta stand out! And if that means going for the big B, so be it. (more…)

Woo. This week had been … well … different. With the dawn of sculpted prim (“sculptie”) capability, many designers have wasted no time in incorporating this new feature into their products. The results are impressive.
There were actually quite a few new articles I wanted to include in this week’s round-up, however, there was just so much stuff that I couldn’t humanly cram it all in. That being said, I’ll quickly give those who don’t regularly check the forums or other style blogs the heads up that:
- Garbage Prototype of [Random] has created some jeans as well as a set of vest-and-tee combos (fyi, he’s really feeling Lily Allen at the moment).
- Jesseaitui Petion of Aitui Tattoo & Piercing/Renown has rolled out a slew of non-full body tattoos for both sexes at Aitui. He’s also put out flexi neck bandanas and v-necked longsleeves called “Three4th” in 4 colours. And lastly, he’s beefed up his Advance skins which now boasts over 70 skins in 3 light to dark skintones with various facial hair options.
- Lost Thereian of Naughty Designs has released some long-awaited short styles for men (“Dare” and “Modern Edge”).
- Mystikal Faddoul of Mystikal Hair Designs came out with “Brat”, a flexifed style with scultped hat.
- Nephilaine Protagonist of Pixeldolls puts sculpties to the test with a collection of tintable longleeves, jeans, and a velvet jacket.

Sometimes it seems like I switch every few days from one Naughty Designs hairstyle to another, with the occasional other designer thrown in for good measure. Now, that’s not actually true as there are a lot of hair designers whose work I love. (What is most likely true in actual fact is that I’m usually wearing my favorite new style, by whatever designer.) But it is also true that Lost Thereian of Naughty Designs has been putting out one gorgeous hairstyle after another in the last several weeks. This style, called “Gabriel,” was just released along with Lost’s new skin for men by the same name. It is available in 45 different colors including, I was very glad to see, some true reds! This makes me very happy. 
You can buy “Gabriel” in packs of three colors in the same family for L$300, or all 45 colors for L$2000. (more…)

It was bound to happen, and it did. The results? Two more great men’s hair designs from Lost Thereian of Naughty Designs that I can’t live without. Here you see “Deviance,” even more untamed and spiky than Lost’s recent “Mess It Up” style.

I do have to say that there are not many designers that I get excited about in SL but as soon as Willow tells me there is a new release by Lost, I am porting there before she can even tell me what it is. Everything he makes is of the highest quality and Gawd he makes me look good! I am rarely seen without one of his skins and I haven’t taken off this new hair since it came out. Well I did take it off once but that was only because I was wearing his even newer hair lol. 
Ok, lets start with the Vintage Low Rise Jeans. I had the hardest time deciding which ones I was going to wear in my pic (Thanks for the pic baby!) I decided to go with the Copper Stained and Dark. If there is one thing I am not going to complain about its variety. These Vintage Low Rise Jeans come in 7 different washes and he even though they are Modable, it comes with three pre-fits included: super slim, straight leg, and baggy loose. I love the way these jeans look. I even caught myself saying I wish I could get them in RL lol.
Now… The Naughty Vintage Tees – Fourteen new muscle defined tees. I opted for the Black Blank and the Off White Blank because I was going for a classic look but I love these original designs. Its hard to find very many original designs in SL, but you never have to look any further than Naughty! I would and probably will wear each and everyone of these. These tees are going to be a great addition to my wardrobe and with 14 different variations, there is at least one for everyone. That means you too! So what are you waiting for? Why are you still reading this? GO GET YOUR TEES!

It’s been a hairy week. No, seriously–it’s been a great week for men’s hair. First there was Mystikal Faddoul’s new casual style, “Scruff” (see my post from earlier this week). Now there’s “Mess It Up,” a new style by designer Lost Thereian of Naughty Designs. If you want to look like you care enough to spring for an expensive salon cut, yet aren’t uptight enough to comb it into slick waves and lock it in place with gel all day, “Mess It Up” might just be perfect for you. The hair texture is–no other word will do–fantastic. The strands are carefully placed for maximum casual impact.
The design is a mix of flexi and non-flexi strands, but the flexi aspects are very subtle. In fact, they’re so subtle that I didn’t notice them at first, until Lost corrected me (in as kind a manner as humanly possible). You may have to look closely to see it, but the impression of life and movement is definitely there. The details, like the slightly munched-up strands on the right side and the little wisps in the back, are killer. This is Beautiful People hair. It is Movie Star hair. Brad Pitt has hair like this. If Orlando Bloom cut his hair short, this is what it would look like. If you’ve always wanted to have effortlessly perfect, jealousy-inducing hair, now you can. Enough said–get yourself out to Naughty Island. Right now. The only question is, which colors? The selection is staggering.

Or newish, at least. I’m not sure exactly when these henleys hit the shelves at Naughty Designs, but it’s relatively recently–I try to stop by Naughty Island every week or two, just in case, and when I was there a few days ago, there they were. I picked a few up then and just got around to trying them on, shame on me. Here I’m wearing the Guy’s Henley in burgundy (also available in green, brown, charcoal, and purple). These casual shirts feature great design by Ambyance2 Anubis (as usual) and pair nicely with jeans or khakis. The button, seam and hem details are fantastic! The shirts are worn on the jacket layer and come in buttoned and unbuttoned versions. Available for L$100 each at Naughty Designs (Naughty 55, 220, 44).

If you haven’t yet visited the new Naughty Designs location, Naughty Island (Naughty 55, 220, 44), you owe it to yourself to drop by immediately, if not sooner. Lost Thereian and Ambyance2 Anubis have outdone themselves with the design and execution of their new shopping environment, which has the look and feel of a very upscale shopping mall. Signage at the main TP arrival point helpfully shows which way to go for what products, but feel free to just strike out and wander. For menswear, from the main TP arrival point turn left and walk down the big, bright walkway behind you all the way to the end. When you see the grand piano, you’re there. Hey, shopping isn’t just an errand—it’s an experience!
