Brought to You Courtesy of Lucky Chair

So, when I made that horribly long post a week or two back I said I’d hoped I hadn’t forgotten anything. I did. But don’t worry, forgetting made this post a lot better. I probably wasted just about all my luck on lucky chairs, but I managed to grab three E’s from two chairs in a span of 24 hours while I was at two stores.
So what I forgot was the Camo Tank from F.A.T. Designz that I picked up a few weeks ago. I only remembered the tank when I received a reminder that F.A.T. Designz was celebrating its first birthday with a weekend-long party. The part I find coolest is that the designer, Alfred Kabuki, has pushed his designs back into real life as well. Which means you can tell the real world what you do to the dj’s wife just like in SL. On top of having relatively reasonable prices (most products from my glance last weekend in the 80 to 110L range) the store also has a lucky chair and camper chairs for extra free stuff. Both switch between various products. I happened to see an “E” on the chair and received the RAW I pants when I checked to see if the tank was still out.
Later that day I ended up dropping by Black Maria to show someone the free tanks tops there (for females, I believe) Just as I got here, a chair announced it was looking for “E” again. So I sat on it and received the Maria hair in Black/Red/Yellow. It seems to be a lucky chair exclusive color — other colors are 100L. The cross happened to be right next to the teleport to the second floor.
But, despite the awesomeness of the clothes, I have a few complaints. The are seaming issues on the camo tank: the straps don’t meet perfectly and there’s a small hole where the top texture meets the bottom one. The latter wasn’t as noticeable with a dark skin, but was quite visible on light one. In the picture, I rectified this with a green shirt on the shirt layer, shrunk to be the right size. This isn’t a problem in the other shirts from the store (I won another from the camping chair one night to double check), and is quite possibly why the item is a freebie.
When I went back again to check if the permissions on the clothes were different on the wall and from the lucky chair (they aren’t), I managed to find yet another “E” on the lucky chair. This time I got the Rulez tattoo. While a nice design, the tattoo’s perms were a bit annoying. It is transferable, but no copy and no modify. On a dark skin it looks very pasty of out the box. Often times, tinting at tattoo darker/ closer to the skin color helps alleviate this issue, but that is not possible unless the tattoo is modifiable. That’s why I switched to a lighter skin for the outfit.
As for the cross, it is available in three sizes rather different sizes, but is no mod so it can’t be custom-fit. I’m wearing the largest in the picture. The other two sizes are about 1/2 and 3/4 the height of the first one.
