There have been music-based throwdowns in the past, but there’s always something special about rock stars. Whether it be for their music skills, on stage presence, or armies of fans, rock stars have “made it big.”

Here to explore the world of sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll with me this week is Autumn Hykova, owner of the hair store Tiny Bird. Autumn doesn’t seem to use her personal blog, Second Living on the Edge, any more but has nonetheless managed to stay in the blogosphere. A clear master the art of cameo blogging, Autumn put a lot of work into the Victorian Bushfire Appeal, has been modeling over at Of Deer & Dogs, and is the Bonus Jewnas. She even managed to cameo on Men’s Second Style.

Express Zenovka – What is a Rock Star?

Being a rock star is all about the looks. You just have to look good. Look stylish. See the line.. cross it.. and never look back. Fans will eat that up.

No no.. scratch that.

Being a rock star is about the music. You have to love the music. If you don’t, you won’t be able to do a show every night for months on end. No matter who or where you are, the music can comfort.

Eh. That’s not right either.

Oh. I know.

Being a rock star is all about the groupies. Why do I say that? Well.. lets just say.. I don’t have any pants on, and there’s a young lady down there that seems to have no problem with that. Funny thing is.. I don’t either.

Hi, my name is Kenny Lavitz, and I’m going to tell you about a typical day for a ROCK GOD, such as myself.

First, you spend the better part of the day getting ready and looking at your gorgeous face in front of the mirror. You repeat your personal mantra to yourself over and over. “Women want you, Men want to BE you, grandomothers swoon in your presence” Then off to the photographers to shoot for the cover of Rolling Stone, Vibe, or maybe Time voted you man of the year again. Such is life when you’re an international superstar phenomenon.

Then, it’s GIG TIME. You wear the same clothes from the shoot, they worked then, they’ll work now right? You perform for your thousands of adoring fans, they are agog at your amazing skills at lip synchronization. Too bad this isn’t a bigger venue, they had to turn people away from the sensation that is YOU. The women are screaming and crying, the men are holding up lighters, they’re enthralled. You decide to give them the thrill of their lives. Crowd.Surfing. You hold your breath, muster up the courage to jump. 1… 2… 3…

You wake up the next day in a wheel chair, you look out the window at the sea. Those bastards dropped you.
